Members $80/ Non-members $110 A program for intermediate to advanced level swimmers looking for a high quality training environment. Group-oriented training sessions combined with individual attention from instructor. Focus will be on a variety of styles of workouts (distance, threshold, technique, etc..) Participants must have approval from aquatics director to join class. The Open Water Swim clinic is for swimmers who are either new to open water swimming or want the opportunity to improve their technique and train with a professional instructor. The focus will be on technique and training specific to open water (sighting, buoy turning, maneuviering) rather than on freestyle fundamentals. Wednesdays are focussed on drills and specific technique work, while Sundays are geared towards applying those skills to a workout. Participants will complete a series of progressive workouts including Pull-Ups, Push-Ups, Plyometrics and intense Core exercises.
