June 4 – July 28th at Quarry Lake. JUMP HIGH TRAINING is a youth training program for ages 12+. It is designed to significantly increase the vertical jump of athletes as fast as possible. This 8 week program takes committement and dedication: training 6 days a week. It includes 3 pool sessions or Hydro week. Saturday training is an outdoor session (vertical measurement assessment occurs each Saturday) for all athletes. Young athletes will train with weights and other equipment, focusing on explosive movements on lower body for 3 days a week. On the other 3 days the focus is upper body and core. Jump High is personalized. Each young athlete’s capacity fo explosiveness is different and recognized. The training stays within each person’s explosive range, so participants must invest time and learn to listen to their body. The techniques are also explosive, demanding participants to learn how to train a little differently than what they might be used to. Spaces limited to 4 youth per session. All youth attend the Saturday session. Parents can email Kurt to confirm availability of the time slot in which you are interested: kurt@pureaustin.com. He will then be able to provide you the link for online registration, or it can be done in person at the Front Desk. Cost for the 6-day per week, 8 week program is $1000.

Three options for Mon-Friday sessions, and everyone will attend the Saturday session.
Weekday options:

3. 1:30-2:45PM MON – FRI

& SATURDAYS 9:30-10:45AM OUTDOORS

Coach Kurt developed the Jump High Training program and has proven its success for several years with athletes of all levels. The average gains are at least an inch a week on the vertical jump. Coach Kurt believes there are no short cuts to great results, just sound training and hard work. Basketball, volleyball and any activity which involves jumping are ideal for this very sport-specific training.
