Nathan Miller

Nathan Miller, BS Exercise Science/Kinesiology, splashed on to the "Master Fitness" Specialist scene at Pure Austin in September of 2005, upon completion of his degree at University of Texas.

A native Austinite, Nathan has been racing and participating in sports here since his childhood. He now races road bikes with Team Brain and Spine and competes statewide and regionally year round. Before shifting his focus to road racing, Nathan was a mountain bike racer, but upon meeting his now good friend Will Ross, also an experienced road racer and Pure Austin trainer, he was drawn to the road and never looked back. His love for racing is reflected in his high-energy spin classes, which he currently teaches Wednesday evenings, 7 p.m., at the Town Lake location.

Nathan's personal view is that attention to health and fitness is not an option for anyone who wants to live a wholly fulfilling life. Thus, he stresses making working out a top commitment-his job is to make that challenging, fun, and effective, so it's an easy commitment to make. He loves helping people with a variety of goals, and his extensive background in the field also gives him the solid scientific base from which to be creative.

Testimonial: I joined Pure Austin in the fall of 2006 and signed up for my first spin class with Nathan Miller.  I enjoyed the spin class so much I hired Nathan to be my personal trainer.  He is the most positive and motivating trainer that I have ever had.  I actually look forward to my sessions each week.  In all these months I have never had the same work out twice.  He continues to recognize my strengths and weaknesses and designs each work out to be innovative and fun.  The effects of training with Nathan and the improved body that came with it have enhanced every aspect of my life…..I can’t recommend him highly enough.
