Growing up as a multi-sport athlete with a big appetite, Laura learned to appreciate how food is truly fuel for your body.  At the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, she combined her enthusiasm for food and fitness to earn a degree in Nutrition from the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health.  After college, she pursued the title of Registered Dietitian in order to make her passions her career.


By coaching people to make small changes according to their individual food preferences, goals and schedules, Laura has changed lives.  She is a unique dietitian in that she is extremely realistic and works with your individual lifestyle.  Her wide variety of experiences and dynamic personality make her the perfect candidate to handle all types of issues, questions and needs.  Whether you want to become leaner, stronger, faster or healthier, Laura will guide you through the process to achieve your goals.


In addition to working at Pure Austin, Laura speaks publicly on a regular basis and writes for a variety of media outlets.  In her spare time, she enjoys running, traveling, swimming, dinner parties and Austin in general.
